Read Here For Tire Changing!!!

I spoke with Jim Pidgeon last night. His exact words were, "...tell everyone you can....keep 'em coming..." When I told him about the site, he told me, "...get me all the plugs you can on there..."

You bring him your own tires, he changes 'em. Charges $15 per wheel, off the bike. $20 per wheel on the bike. And he has no desire to get into the tire resale business...

Not sure, but he may also work on m/c's. I'm gonna meet up with him next week and I'll talk to him then in further detail...

So here it is, bitches!

Jim Pidgeon

He WANTS all the business he can get!!! Call him!!!

That is a very fair deal. The best I've done is $18 at a shop in S.D. Well worth the trip to NH. The only question is.....can he handle fragile race wheels? Manual bead breaker?

Beating Stoneman to the punch

I met Jim today. I wanted to do the computer balance on my front tire.

I'm gonna take "stoinky" up on a manual tire swap when I get another rear rim in this week.

Jim's got in his garage a balancer and a traditional mag wheel tire changer where the tire bead arm hovers just above the rim (no contact: in theory) He used the machine's bead breaker on my tire. Just like a tire shop. SUper quick and easy. "Spooned" it off by hand with a bar tool.

In literally 12 minutes, I was changed, checked, mounted and balanced. Valve stem to the balance dots etc............

He's within view of the Manch High school and super easy to get to.

Bring ca$h, $15 seemed like it was well worth it. Especially for the balance. Plus gas is $1.62 at Hess across town off 293.

-Suf Daddy here's the before photo.

I usually call him and leave a message. He'll most likely get back at ya when he gets home from his day job. I HIGHLY recommend him. Be sure and tell ya you saw it on the site, maybe mention my name (Jay Stonner)...

In fact, I've gotta get some tires/wheels down to him soon too!

THIS IS THE BEST DEAL EVER!!!

This guy is awesome, I had a set of dunlop 208's to replace to 206's that were on the bike, and when I brought it to Jim, the axle had no grease so it took a lot for him to get the back tire off, and then when he finished both tires, I thought he would charge me extra, but it did not change the price. This is a A+ guy, he is cool, will explain and knows his stuff. I went to all the local shops and most will not even put them on for you if you dont buy them from them, but if they will do it then they want 60-80 a tire. If any one you know is looking to get tires put on I suggest going to see Jim.

Jesse

So far I agree to all of the above. I spoke to him the other night to set up an appointment. I'll be slapping new rubber on before Tony's Trackday....trying the new Pilot Power. ( I did give you/and the site a plug..Jay. He said I was the 2nd person that day to see/speak with him from NESR ).

I'm dropping set of wheels/tires off this morning to have 'em swapped. Jim cracks me up, he's truely a hot shit...

First thing he said when I told him who I was, was '...Damn! You've been tossing me quite a bit of business...' Most excellent to hear. Keep in mind that the more business we bring him, the longer he'll be around to offer this incredibly reasonable service...

Also keep in mind that he also works on bikes. Maybe wouldn't hurt to give him a shout next time you encounter something that requires more attention and/or skill than you can offer...
