EDIT: BIKE IS SOLD! (pending payment)
Sellin my first born.
Trades for race prepped light-middleweight race bike would be considered.
First, to be clear, this is a legally registered & insured street bike, NOT a track only bike. If I could afford to keep it & make it a dedicated track toy I would. This thing runs like a friggin champ despite it's age & milage so don't let that scare you off.
I'm the 2nd owner. Purchased May 2004 with 3,800 miles. Now has rougly 27.5k.
The Bad:
Laid down twice, but both times were in the dirt. No major damage, only minor cosmetic scratches. Right Side lower was replaced after the first offing. 2nd offing resulted in a bunch of minor scuffs (went for a ride in the Virginia Muuuuud). No cracked plastics, only scuffs & scratches. Stock muffler is lightly scratched as well, but again, it's all minor. Could easily be repaired by the guys at EmpireGP.com
The Good:
Free Delivery within 1 hour drive of Topsfield MA. Delivery up to 2-3 hours away is negotiable (pay for gas & lunch, dinner, whatever)
Clean title in hand.
Has brand new Battery & fires first click like the business.
Pirelli Dragon Supercorsa Pro's with a few thousand miles left in them.
I will also throw in a set of Pilot Powers with about 50% tread left on them for free. Also good for a few thousand miles.
Integrated Blinkers in the tail lights.
Stock rear blinkers included & in great condition. Stock wiring harness is intact, they can be plugged right in.
Flushmounts up front. Right side has slight damage but still works.
Stock front blinkers included & also in great condition.
Spare headlight assembly also included, scratch on left lense, otherwise mint.
Fork oil changed to 15wt in 2006, forks raised 8mm. Turns in beautifully & carves great.
EBC HH pads with plenty of meat.
Have almost BRAND NEW Woodcraft Clip-ons that I can include with sale (150 dollar value. Mounted once & removed. Great for track use.)
Also have an Ignition Advance kit that is included & can be installed in a snap for improved HP & throttle response.
Will have new oil, filter, chain & valve check (adjustment if necessary) before it leaves my possession.
Alternatively I'll sell it for $3k AS IS. It is ridable as it sits, no work is NEEDED, but I would take care of the above items if I were keeping it. I'll also get you in touch with the tech I was gonna have take care of the valves for me. (Degsy gave me a heads up on this guy... He's an EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGABLE Kawasaki Mechanic & does amazing work for very short money.)
