listing for a friend of mine...I don't know it 100%, so I can forward along any questions you have.
it's got ~125,xxx miles...2wd, regular cab, long bed, auto, 3.0 V6, A/C (works), heat, cruise control, manual windows and locks
The brakes work, and I'd guess the tires are probably ~50%. It goes into gear and has no problem shifting gears. It passed inspection last year and it comes with a hitch too.
With the 3.0 V6 he's seen as high as 25mpg highway.
It comes with:
-an extra set or rear wheels for snow tires
-we replaced the tailgate with a new one a couple years ago
-a white cap
and here are all the pics I had from when I borrowed it:
$3,250
will consider trades for your older generation, gas guzzling, F150/250/350 with a plow

How much
definitely flexible on the price, we both were unsure of the price and just threw something up there per forum rules
and what did you put in for the kbb criteria? I ran it under fair condition with the above specs and got $3,400
what other information can I get for him?

hmm...I might be doing something wrong...
I used private party, with minimal options (I'm not 100% sure which options the truck has) and got this:

FWIW, the same website valued my truck at 8700 and I know I'd never see anywhere near that.
Your friend may want to research actual sale prices in your area. Just a suggestion.
bump...still for sale
thanks for the tip Paul, local listings have honestly varied a ton for 2001, 2wd rangers. I looked at all the 2001 2wd rangers in woosta craigslist right now and they average $4305 (range $2395 - $5998)
