Here's the Craigslist add with all the details:
http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/d...863444581.html
The bike is currently with me in DC. Would be happy to meet someone in the Lehigh Valley, PA area to deliver (my parents live there). Can also deliver to Tony's in April at NJMP.
NESR Price: $4300-bike/spares/some street stuff, $4500-including spare wheels
Make an offer, pass it on, tell your friends. A few on here have ridden it and can attest that it's set up well. I'm definitely going to miss it.
I'd also post it up on dcsportbikes.net - plenty of racers / track junkies on that board. GLWS.
Thanks...just registered. Now I have to BS 5 posts so I can post a for sale add! (I really hate being that guy)
My criteria is: Whatever I get needs to be able to be deposited back into the bank account from where I withdrew money to buy the R6 in order to make my wife happy again. If you can work within that criteria.... and no I won't deliver to Texas!![]()
Superstar !!!!
Any spare rear sets you'd like to part out?
Can you send details of what it has to rhobbs266@yahoo.com
sorry...did not see the link ...duh
Thanks, But I'm good on frame sliders. What I'm really looking for right now is another set of riser plates or woodcraft rearsets. The riser plates that came with it are bent a bit.
Good luck with the sale!
Bump for the weekend with all the details added in just incase the CL add expires. NESR price in first post.
Selling my 2006 Suzuki SV650S race/trackday bike. Clean title in hand. I love this bike. Only reason its for sale is that I picked up an R6 as my track bike for the year and I won't be racing for a while. The SV handles great and pulls hard for a stock motor. I'm going to miss it!
With the clean title it could legally be put back to street no problem. Physically it will be a little harder because of the aftermarket fairing stay and subframe. I will not convert it back to a street bike before sale.
Parts list:
- Suspension set up for 185lb rider - 1.5 trackdays since refresh. I like my suspension a bit stiff so it could probably work well for a slightly heavier rider as is
- Ohlins shock
- KFG Suspension reworked forks including springs and valving
- Woodcraft Clip-ons
- Rental roadrace grips
- Woodcraft Rearsets set up for GP shift
- Endurance Engineering lightweight fairing stay with laptimer bracket (saves 2 lbs over stock fairing stay!)
- Endurance Engineering lightweight subframe (saves 4.5 lbs over stock subframe!)
- PCIII - Power Commander with map for the M4 exhaust
- Scotts Steering Stabilizer
- Armour Bodies full race bodywork
- Full M4 racing exhaust with Titanium can.
- Spiegler Stainless Steel brake lines
- Carbonne Lorainne C59 racing brake pads
- ASV short levers
- MRA Double Bubble Windscreen
- GSG Moto Frame Sliders and Swingarm Spools
- Keyless gas cap
- 520 Chain conversion with extra sprockets
- Spacer for front wheel to eliminate speedometer
- Fully safety wired
Spares Included:
- Stock windscreen
- Gas Tank - Dented, but solid. Have ridden with it in current condition
- assorted frame slider parts
- assorted rearset pieces
- Euro Moto quick turn throttle and cables
- Assorted Stock Parts -- Some plastics, passenger footpegs, grab handle, kickstand, headlight, etc.
- Assorted aftermarket street stuff including Hotbodies undertail w/turn signals and Clear Alternatives integrated LED tail light with turn signals
The "bad":
- The bodywork isn't bike-show pretty anymore. It has a couple of small cracks and some rash from my last crash (it is a race bike, after all). The important areas (i.e the bellypan, mounting tabs, etc) are solid and it will pass tech no problem. I have ridden it as it currently sits. Fixing it and new paint were on the winter list before I bought a new bike. The paint still looks great from 10ft/10mph
- The exhaust can has a dent from the same crash. It's not punctured and performs fine. All other pieces impacted were replaced as necessary. The bike has been checked over and ridden since, as well.
Also have a full set of spare wheels with Dunlop rain tires (rotors, spacers, cush drive, etc). Will include for $200 if asking price is met. Front rain is still usable. Rear got burned up a bit on a drying track, could work for trackday use.
Will be happy to send/take more pictures. Please include a name and phone number with serious inquiries.
NOTE: PitBull rear stand used in pictures is NOT included in sale
