Anyone up for a ride?
I was gonna go to MM on Tuesday to look at getting some gear for the upcoming track day and figured I'd go out for a spin while I was at it. Anytime is good, and I don't really care where either

If you want decent gear at a great price go to Brockton Cycle. You will save a ton of dough there.

I might be up for a spin out to Motomarket. Meeting in the AM would be best for me (10 AM) but I need to check my schedule. Do you want to ride some of the roads before we get to MMKT?...we could meet @ the gas station on the bend of RT 2.

I was in in Central Square in cambridge and I ran into a couple of people who were coming from Acton Motomarket and they said that they do that ride every tuesday evening, so that would be a pretty cool ride for you tomorrow. I would love more info on this, the only downfall that I have on this is that I would be coming from Cambridge, to Acton to ride back to Cambridge. But, to get to ride I would do it. Anyone who has any info let me know. Thanks

hmmm, i'll have to check the weather but i may be up for a ride. elaineo, you're in cambridge right? if you go up thru the fresh pond rotary and then pass alewife station (on your left) you should see the signs for rt2 shortly after that. i think pearldog is talking about the mobil at the intersection of rt2 and rt2a yes? if that's the case just stay on rt2 - you'll cross over rt 128 and the mobil station will be at the 2nd set of lights.

Sounds good if the weather is good, I might shoot up that way. Otherwise I might just go for a ride around the City and meet up with people at the miracle of science. Also keep me posted if you are ever going to go for rides leaving out of Cambridge, I am pretty much always up for it.

oh crap - i totally forgot that my bike is sitting in the garage torn apart (yes, i am blonde). my husband is doing a valve adjustment on it and needs to get a different shim. i'll try to pick that up at lunch and maybe he can get it back together tonight (i have no idea how long this stuff takes). if not, maybe i'll take his falco

Are there a lot of people right in the City (Boston, Cambridge) and if so do any of you guys do the Cape ride? I know I will be going to Wareham a lot during the summer, I just think that it would be a great time to have a bunch of people head down that way. Especially if we could find a time with not so much traffic.

There are some amazingly good motorcycle roads just north of MM. I'd be happy to give you directions if interested. Pearldog can attest to the goodness of the roads...

I've got the maps out determined to incorporate some of those roads into my local loops. Although from rt 3 to 107 gets a little confusing....

3 to 107 is my least favorite section but I can give you very specific details if you want them.

Best part of that whole ride is that little road toward the beginning. If you don't mind a bit of dirt, there's another awesome road that links up nearby on 40.

10 AM works great...I'll check here(tonight) and before I leave (9:15ish)..as for the meeting spot. Patricia is right..it is the Mobil on RT 2 on the right side as RT 2 W takes a sweeping left.

If you would rather meet up somewhere else...fine by me. I can meet you in Lexington Center, Belmont Center or just about anywhere outside of Boston/Cambridge. You could jump on the Mass Pike and get off at the Weston Exit also.....tell me what location works best for you.

I'll PM my cell phone number.

damn, i think i'm out. i don't think my bike is going to be put back together by then. what a pain in the ass it was just to get the stupid valve shim. i called 4 different honda dealers and no one had them in stock - wtf?

anyway, maybe some other time.
