I'm doing it (I think). Time to pass this bike along. I bought it in early 2011, rode it a couple of times at track days that year and did a few red-group TTD control riding days on it last year and one race weekend. This year (2013) I've been using it as my red/yellow group control rider bike. My intent was to race the SV and sell the Hawk. I just like riding the Hawk too much and I think it's time to cut the SV loose. It's always been stored in a heated shop and well kept with the oil being changed after every three track days or so with Amsoil semi-synthetic.
The previous owner has a low mileage street motor installed (he said it was 3000 street miles) in 2010 by Miles Hubert. Miles also did the suspension. There are ZX6 internals in the stock front forks and an Ohlins in the rear. I replaced the rear spring and set it up for my 140lbs but I'll include the spring that it came with. It has an M4 exhaust, Woodcraft rearsets, etc, etc. I repaired the bodywork last winter and it's now flat black. There is also a set of spare wheels with rain tires, stock exhaust, rearsets, bars etc. The rains have been used and are in far from new shape but they've served me well. The photos show Bridgestones on it but I've recently switched to a pair of Pirelli DOT race tire take offs. The only negative I can think of on this bike is that the instrument gauge is off some other bike and the temp gauge reads wonky sometimes. Enough so that I don't entirely trust it but I've never had an issue with overheating.
The bike is totally set up and ready for a track day or race.
