Infractions System Update
The Infractions System isn't new around here, but it hasn't been getting used. I hope that will change.
Q: What is the Infractions System?
A: A way for staff to issue formal warnings for pre-defined infraction types.
Q: Who can give infractions?

Q: What impact do infractions have on users that receive them?
A: 3 infractions in 180 days = permanent ban. More details below.
Infraction types:
Being A Dick - this is subjective and that's too bad, for you.
Unapproved Advertising
Disrupting For Sale/Wanted threads
[to be implemented if necessary] Abusing the Report Post feature.
Infraction expiration:
Each infraction will expire after 180 days, unless subsequent infractions are received and then you're at 180 days again.
Banning:
If you accumulate 3 infractions, you'll be automatically banned forever.
Previously this included a few other infraction types, a 7-day temp ban before the permanent ban, and the expiration for infractions was 30 days.
