Does anyone use Tapatalk on NESR?

Tapatalk support has been here for a long time but I have no idea if it's even being used. The pop-up on mobile generates some complaints, and I can't turn it off without paying for a Tapatalk subscription. If it's not getting much use, I'm going to remove the plugin and be done with it.

i know it has some nasty vulnerabilities, which is why WERA stopped using it. i use it primarily on here as i'm on my phone more that a computer

i use it quite often when i'm not at a computer...i also use it when i'm at a computer cause it makes uploading photos so much easier...i type a post and then go onto tapatalk and edit the post to upload the photo

agreed...much easier...even if i have to downsize the photo i just take a screen shot of it and post that through tapatalk and then delete it

I just use Dropbox (with auto upload enabled) and hot link all my photos.

The couple of times I actually used Tapatalk, I couldn't figure out how to post photos...

I only look at this forum on my phone and have still never used it. I just attach photos through upload computer and attach.

I have noticed it brings me to the mobile version of the site lately even though I start on the normal main page If I click on full site are the bottom, it still stays on the mobile version.

I don’t have an issue posting pictures from mobile. I don’t use the mobile skin for the forum though.

I don't have issues using the full site with mobile. With Tapatalk I don't see the option to attach photos. Which really isn't a big deal, I've only used Tapatalk a couple times.

FWIW - a few months ago, ADV Rider forum stopped supporting tapatalk (or vice versa).
As a result, the thousands/millions of photos previously posted via tapatalk were no longer viewable - they were hosted by tapatalk, not the main forum.
This was ALL photos: classifieds posts, trip reports, old how-to/DIY threads, etc

The photos host at tapatalk, which is another reason I use it. I'm at my maximum on this site, and going back and deleting stuff is a PITA. Tapatalk doesn't seem to have a limit.

I use a mobile browser page on desktop view and upload photos easily, like jimmpcapp mentioned. Never had any issues. If anything, my preference is always the desktop view. Mobile browser views condense, move, and remove features I'm used to knowing the location of. To answer the question, I've never used tapatalk.

A little off topic, but when I open nesr, it's the regular main page (desk top) but if I click on a thread (like this one) it automatically swtches it to mobile view.

Anyone know how to change this so it stays on the regular view?
