    Tappatalk alerts

    For whatever reason, when Tappatalk sends my iPhone a reply notification, it USUALLY sends me two... one saying someone posted in a thread I'm subscribed to and, if that person quoted someone, another saying that same person quoted ME.... when they didn't actually quote me.

    I just installed an update for the server-side plugin but the release notes don't mention anything about this issue, so I wouldn't expect it to improve. Tapatalk just continues to get worse while they focus on their 'next big thing'.

    Yeah I just went to their support forum & saw tonnnnnnnnnnns of complaints about the newest release (which just came out today I guess), including people saying they now have hundreds of notifications.

    Oh hey, lookit that, so do I. (114 notifications now)

    I'm hoping it's just a bad April Fools joke but I doubt it.

    Your dick fingers have probably hit the star icon on threads you were reading and accidentally subscribed. Mine was doing the same thing, then I cleared my subscriptions. Click the star icon next to the participated threads icon and check your subscriptions. You can remove yourself my opening the thread and if that star is gold, click it to unsubscribe.

    It's not a matter of subscribing to threads I didn't want to subscribe to. It's a matter of getting double notifications if anyone replies to or quotes anyone in a thread I'm subscribed to.

    Read thread.
    Reply/subscribe to thread.
    Someone quotes someone.
    I get double notified... one saying "someone replied", the other saying "Someone quoted you" when they didn't quote me.
