upload video file?

Tried to upload a video file through the Manage Attachments function and it does not load however I do not get an error.

80mb file, not linking from any website. Want to directly upload to the forum

What am I missing?

80 MB is probably too big!!!

Change the file format in movie maker to tone it down a bit?

If a file is too big then I'd expect to see an error message.

I will work on the format but I think 80 is about as small as this will go without losing what little quality is there

I'm trying to avoid creating a YT acct to post one video but its looking like I am headed in that direction

I'm actually surprised we haven't heard more requests for video uploads because only .wmv is allowed and is limited to 10MB under the current settings. That certainly doesn't qualify as video friendly these days. The google drive suggestion is a good one.

Yeah like I said, I'm surprised there haven't been more requests for other formats / larger sizes.

Maybe it's not a priority cuz it's so easy to link to sites like YouTube, dropbox, Google.. I just found out about vimeo too.
