I was wondering if the powers that be wanted to make a spot on NESR for site supporters only to load and view maps. I seen in the announcement about the new subscription set up there might be a new sub forum coming and figured this would be a good idea. Makes it so not just anyone could see our prized roads. Plus it will be cool to download on to my droid and find new roads![]()

I like that idea!
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
I do too! The tricky part is to find something that works with multiple output formats from different mapping software packages.

Yep, there's a bunch of freeware for sharing/converting route data between
the various GPS brands and maps if a particular GPS didn't include a format
you require. The universal format is called GPX. However, I'm sure whatever
format Google uses, that will become the standard. No problem with the
Garmin Zumo 550.
