I'll hopefully be going next summer in July...Riding from Cape Cod to Prudhoe Bay AK with my uncle who did it last year. Should be a fun trip.

little late to the welcome but hey, welcome! Corey (hondarider), Jackie (sportygurl) & Matty (think you can figure that out) are right 116 is awesome. We all ride up there a lot. Don't let Matt get you worried though, it would be hard to get lost out there. Get that bike ride-able asap and lets hit some twisties.

Corey will be happy to have another Honda in the group.

lol what bike are you going to be riding? a trip up the dalton doesn't really qualify as "fun" to me but hey, each to their own. that road is a shitmess from what I've heard.

I've heard good things about 116 and I'll have to have my fellow UMass rider (only one I know at school lol) show me where its at!

I do know of a few UMass riders wadded both their bikes (special edition 03 gsxr, sv650) in a joint accident up there last fall and got injured pretty bad. Not that that is stopping me though!!

My bike is getting shipped over to Heidi @ Valley Motorsports for uncrating. Mid September and I'll have her out and about. PM's will be sent for some sort of a ride after i familiarize myself with 116

Yepppp....I was on the GSXR, and my friend Darius was on the SV. He got hurt pretty bad (got a helicopter ride out of 116), and luckily I was able to hobble out of the hospital a couple hours later. I'm still up here at UMass for my last year. Kinda busy with senior design classes and being a TA, but I try to get out there riding at much as possible. Just shoot me a message if you're ever down for a ride....you gotta hit up 116 while the weather is still nice.

enjoy the roads out there in UMASS.. never been there with the bike but have brought the car out there many of times and ttoled around the back roads. I have to make it out there next year when i can ride again!

Whoaaaaa....elab? That's my fucking home...I practically live here. It's 11pm at the moment and I'm still here, with no sign of getting to leave anytime soon and I have class at 8:40 . I'm assuming you're in some engineering discipline.

I was near totman a couple times today on the bike...it's actually black but I'm pretty sure that was probably me. There aren't many 03 636's hanging around this area that I'm aware of.

Be safe out there on 116...I was out there this past Sunday and there were already some leaves falling on the road, and combined with the wet pavement it was a little unsettling at times. If you get a chance sometime soon a nice ride is to hit up 116 all the way to rt 112...take that up to rt 2 (mohawk trail) and blast up that road all the way to North Adams. From there you can actually continue to follow it for some more twistys right over the border in NY, or shoot up north into VT and rip around up there.
