Hi, I'm new here. I'm a Capricorn, and I enjoy watersports, picnics in the sun and... wait, wrong forum.

Seriously though, I'm moving to Maine (Portland-ish) at the end of this year and have been riding for about 5 years back in my native Australia. Had an Aprilia RS125 and then a Ducati 748SP, so I like unreliable Italian things that make noise.

Looking forward to riding in the incredible cold, that is when there's not too much damn snow on the road for me to go anywhere. I heard that everyone in CT is nice but everyone in VT has sex with sheep? Not too sure what I think of that, I'd move to New Zealand if that's what I liked!

nah, we got those stupid ass pocket bikes, too... i think he's talkin bout bikes like the NSR50, RS250 (w/ the street legal bits), CBR250 & any other tastey treats we don't have the privilage of getting here in the United States of Hates Cool Motorcycles

Ahh, okay! Yeah, we get a pretty good market for 250s. Unfortunately, the state I'm from doesn't allow first-year riders to own 400cc four-strokes; whereas most of the other Australian states do.

RS250s, however, are legal. We also get road-going CR500Es, though there aren't many around!

I still can't believe how cheap bikes are in the U.S., say a 2003 CBR600RR sells for $6k whereas in Australia it's closer to double that in US De Niros...
