    New from Western CT

    This is pretty much my standard intro post may look familiar to some of you guys.

    Hello everyone my name is Scott I have been riding for a few years and been down bad twice the second wreck was almost the one to end riding for me, yeah right like that was going to happen. Anyway I fully rebuilt my K6 GSX-R 600 the only things left original are the main frame and forks. I live in the small town of Bethel well enough chat heres some pictures the wheel seems to be a favorite .

    You should consider buying wrecked bikes from a salvage pool and repairing them and reselling at a profit. Welcome to the forum.

    I have thought about it and it is something I may look into more when I have a little more time on my hands going back to school has unfortunately limited the amount of time I have to tear into bikes.

    Welcome , Hey a guy I met a couple years ago had a wheel on his ZX6 looked just like that. He wheelied over backwards and the bike hit a telephone pole back wheel first.

    Similar situation as far as the bike hitting something a deer clipped my back end the bike highsided and kind of flipped in a way on to my left arm shattering many things. From what my friend behind me said the bike then made it's way in to a tree I was a little busy sliding looking at the ground so I took his word for it I don't really know exactly what happened it was 2 years ago now and I never even saw the deer clip me just saw it jump out I thought I got past it fast enough if I didn't speed up I think it would have T-boned me bad hard to say now though.

    Actually that tire is sitting in my basement it almost got reused but there is a small chunk missing on the sidewall there appears to be no holes. If you want I can toss it in the car and bring it to lemons at some point your welcome to look at it after all that 2CT only had just over 200miles on it. And yes I know you were joking isn't it funny how it's still around

    I forgot to explain that from what I know the bike flipped on it's side a few times and was stopped by the sub-frame hitting a tree and they say that shattered the wheel, snapped the subframe, and took a chunk out of the swingarm I am just glad that the bike didn't follow behind me down the road.
