    welcome, and remember, the color of the bike can change. and it very well might change once you tip it over in a few places (or you just live with scratches, like me). get what you can afford and learn to ride it, then spend good money on the bike you want when you know how to ride

    I realize that it is my first bike and I wouldn't be surprised if I drop it(a few times). I'm not looking to get something brand new for that reason, but I'd like to start off with something that I can learn on and keep for a few years. The CBR is my main choice for that. I could get a 250cc bike to learn on but I'd be tired of it by the end of the year. I have a 100 mile commute each day, so I'd like something with some balls on the hwy if I need it.
