Welcome.. didn't even know you guys existed. Nice to know there's another shop near me!![]()
FTMFW. Plus I've seen my guy work... he takes a bike in for some simple bodywork paint and it ends up a damn near frame-off, with me helping him remove the forks so he can replace head tube bearings. Last time I checked most guys didn't consider that part of a "cheap paint job". Basically, I know the dude is meticulous. And I'm an asshole.
You should bring a bike to your guy for some work...then bring another bike to this guy for some work....then, see who's finished product is better. I really don't like to just take peoples word for someone being the best. So if you could do that and then let me know, I'll know who the best really is and if I have a problem with one of my bikes in the future, I can bring it to the best...Well, the best according to you anyway. What if someone else comes along and says they're the best? Should I believe him or believe you? This is where things get a little hazy for me...I might just take bikes to my guy, I don't think he's the best but he is pretty good at what he does and that has to count for something, I mean, he's still in business after all these years and I don't think he's had too many complaints about his work. If you'd like I could get you his number unless you just want to keep using your guy exclusively? It's up to you, just PM me if your interested..
Best,

THANKS!!!! It didnt take anything but time and a buch of elbow grease... did you notice how i removed the ring on the side cover and smoothed it all out? as for how much time.. all together id have to say i had about 10-15hrs into the beadblastin, carb refurbish and the polishing.. maybe a few more... over a lot of late nights.. as for money it only took the money to buy the supplies ie. sand paper, sand paper and did i mention sand paper?? lol and some buffing supplies.
sorry for the capps in my text. getting ready for the rear set fabrication. will post pics soon. came up with some cool ideas for mounting..![]()
