Heya Everyone,
First off my name is Chris and I am 24/M/MA, single, work a strange schedule in Framingham MA that usually leaves me with four days off a week... which is great when I have a bike.
I have been riding dirt bikes since I was about 12 years old and loved it, then got into street riding oin 2004 when I bought my first street bike, a Yamaha R6... then with car issues I needed to buy a new car and sold the bike to do so.
I recently downgraded my car so that I can have a bike again, so I waited until the '09 info released before making a decision as to what to get next... And yesterday I went and bought an 08 Yamaha R6. I pick it up on Tuesday and will finally be riding again... So now I am looking for people to ride with and hoepfully get a little riding in and at least through the engine break in process before I have to put it away for the winter.
So now its time to start lurking on here... feel free to drop me a line.
I would link a MySpace page, but I always seem to get pissed off at MySpace and delete it everytime I made one, so I am anti-myspace now haha. But I can be reached on AIM as the same screen name as my name here.
Congrats on the new bike purchase. No doubt it will be well worth down grading your car for the bike!
Yeah went from a 2003 MINI Cooper S fully loaded to a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport (4x4 is handy in the winter time). So far no regrets, can't wait until i get the out on the bike though. Although the MINI was the most fun car I have driven... had some things done to it but even stock they feel lik eyou are driving a go-kart haha.
Welcome new guy!

Hey and welcome other Milford guy.
Chris,
Welcome. I'm in Ashland which is close to Milford and next to Framingham. Hit me up if you wanna go for a ride sometime.
Nice, I will definitely keep that in mind. I need to do a lil solo riding to get used to the bike once I pick it up this week then I may hit you up for some riding. I work in Framingham so I drive through Ashland everyday that I work on 135 to get to/from work.
Someone linked this site for someone else, over on Yamaha R6 : R6 Forum and thats how I found you guys. Wish I found it a little sooner to maybe hit up some get togethers to start meeting some new people even before I decided which bike to go with this year.
I have some friends in Milford that ride but they are heavy into stunting (but they keep to empty parking lots most the time), and even though I have been known to occasionally bring the front end up for the hell of it its not something I am all to into, although watching the practice can be fun. I would just hate to mar such a beautiful bike haha.
welcome chris
