Is that an oxymoron?
Since this is the New England Riders forum, I thought I should explain why I am here.
I found you by googling 'Honda CB200 forum', and you were second on the list, and with much more helpful information than the first!
I hope to pick up my 200 very soon!
I'm not unfamiliar with the NE - having gotten drawn into the Yankee Beemers forum a few years ago when I thought of riding up for the European bike show held in Boston every fall? (???)
Anyway, I have been riding for a long time. I bought my first bike, a '75 CL360 in 1976, when I was 20. A '78 XS750 triple followed two years later, and then my BMW R65 in 1980.
That is when I quit buying new motorcycles. (The R65 is still my main ride)
I built a BMW conversion rig in the '80s, and that was lots of fun!
And I've owned for various lengths of time, a H-D XLCR, Honda Dream 50 (street model), a GPZ550, and a '69 BMW R60.
And my most recent motorcycling adventure had me crashing into the lead rider on a group ride, because I wasn't paying attention and was following too close.It was a pretty day - I didn't think anything like that would ever happen to me.
Please learn from my mistakes.
