1. Drop it off of the back of a truck...a few times
2. "Accidental" fire
3. Sell it to a noob for at least $500 more than you paid for it 6 months ago

I was a noob went beyond my limits and put my ninja in a ditch going about 60. head hit the ground so i bought a new helmet. complete noob mistake. Was back to riding the same bike less than a week later and didnt have any issues. I sold it 2 months ago.

As the CC's go up mistakes are easier and happen faster with less forgiveness. Welcome and stay safe. At least you know your limit and have learned.

FWIW - While I didn't hit the car "head on", I hit their front tire while it was coming at me (TOTALLY my fault). I was doing AT LEAST 50-60. My helmet was literally torn apart and I walked away. Although it took about a month before I could get my leg over another bike...

Coming into a turn and I didnt know how to countersteer I was going too fast hit gravel lowsided on the pavement around that speed and then i ended up in a ditch and bike in the middle of the road on its right side. I remember going fast shaking alot then wehen I got up after slding maybe 20 feet.

The 250 didnt have the cornering ability for the turn and I had to 'lay her down'....

WAY in over my head cornering / sharp corner / car coming from the opposite direction / I basically hit the wheel instead of head on into the bumper. Hit it so hard I knocked the tire off the wheel and damaged their wheel...
