I have no idea what the CBRKnight thing is all about which is too bad, but if I did I would be playing along right now.![]()
not sure if the search links are permanent, but enjoy.

Wow I browsed through a few of the CBRKnight posts...definately not going to play along. Thought you were comparing me to someone you knew who had no lady skills or something more along those lines. Not a serial killer in the making.

btw...
i went on my 1st ride yesterday...it hasn't been lowered yet (getting done today) i did good.. slow start...my turns are a tad slow and shakey .. went on the highway and got up to 60... all my boys were surrounding me so i can just handle myself and not worry about other cars... felt comfy. then.. on Federal Hill (some may know this st in RI)... i was just stopped behind a car... then went to take off.. i really dont even know what happen but it leaned too much and since im just touching i couldn't hold it up and i tipped like a freaking cow! oh i was sooo mad.. thank god for frame sliders!!!.. hurt my leg a lil..but im okay.. just hurt my pride a lil ahha. i also have bruises on both calves from my pegs.. ill live.
oh and i was a good girl and didn't drink even tho we stopped at liek 3 diff bars/lounges![]()
Sounds good Cream! I went to Federal Hill for the first time back in the end of April. Tons of awesome places to eat and drink. We ended up at Artini's or somethign along that lines.
Bikes definitly get a bit heavy, quickly if they start to go down.
do worry too much about it, I did the same thing one time trying to turn around in a parking space.
I jammed the brakes on a little hard and the bike just started to tip and there was nothiing I could do but try to slow it down and lessen the hit of the fall.
I know Thayer st all too well. Used to hang out there a lot before they imposed the new parking law. Before they imposed it, there was hundreds of bikes on Thayer. I haven't been since they passed the new parking law on that st though.
ha .. you should see me trying to turn it around to park it.. like with allll the might i have in my toes..thats all i have right now to push...a few points my boys just pulled the back of it for me bc it would have taken 4ever! haha
yeah i tried to hold it.. wasn't happening.. i just next time need to try to pick it up myself.. i cant be alone and have it happen and be shit out of luck..
I had icecream last night
o welcome!

About 2 years ago the passed a law where motorcycles could no longer park wherever they wanted on Thayer St so they designated areas for Motorcycles. Before this law passed, ALL of thayer street was motorcycles. Easily couple hundred motorcycles parked on Thayer St. Ever since this law got passed, I've heard that the bike scene on Thayer St is nothing like what it used to be.
2 things that will help you...
1. it might be easier for you to get off the bike and use the kick stand to spin the bike in tight spaces..
Kick Stand bike Spin
2. They showed us this in the Motorcycle drivers course, how to pick up a bike that you can't muscle up with just your arms.
How to pick up a bike
I remember going down there a couple times in 2007 and the whole street from beginning to end was nothing but motorcycles. People used to post up on here to meet up/hang out down there but after the parking ban, people stopped going because it wasn't worth it.
wait... so your suggesting i pick up the bike and turn it? HA! i cant pick that thing up! lol
hmm.. i might have to try to pick it up like that 2nd video! thanks so much for the videos!!
about thayer.. oh man.. that stinksss....and there isn't much of another place in prov to go huh?
