Hi all, I'm Dana and I'm an addict..
I started riding cruiser style cycles around the early 80's and rode for about ten years. After about a 10 year break in riding decided to get a Vulcan 750 and was reminded of why I gave it up. Too heavy and sluggish and just felt like a continuation of my last ride.
A friend of mine let me try his Ducati Monster 696 and within a week I was driving a Monster 1100 EVO out of the dealership. 3 track experience sessions later and a lot of practice miles and I bought a new 848 EVO. I'm really looking forward to learning how to drive her well
I'm a woman in her late 40's and plan to get my race license soon. It's been really great seeing other women out on the track too! You are nothing short of inspirational. Thank you!

Always,

There's truth and charm and beauty
And strangeness everywhere
The closer we examine
The more there's nothing there

Beautiful bikes! Welcome to the show.
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, I look forward to meeting you all at the track next season.
By the way, my friends call me Dz /* mostly short for dizzy but you decide for yourself! */
Welcome to the forum!
Most excellent. Welcome.
DZ, I also have a 2012 Corse. My 1st Ducati but my 4ty Italian bike and 8th streetbike. Its not the highest performance machine Ive ever had(close) but it is by far the best machine Ive ever had. Enjoy yours!!!
Some quick things Ive noticed: The gearbox will losen up as the bike breaks in. Neutral is hard to find but it will get better. Have the suspension sag set for you. It makes a world of difference. I love the DQS(Ducati quickshifter) but it needs a firm shift to operate correctly. Took me a bit to get it right. Street I go 32front and 38rear PSI on the tires. On track, 30-30 is a good base.
Welcome aboard, a bunch of Ducati fans here....owners and non-owners alike!!
