Been lerking around for a bit and finally joined up. Some of the names around here look familiar from stuntlife and other forums but most don't so here goes.
Been riding since '95 currently own a K5 GSXR 1000. In the middle of a facelift for it and can't wait to farking ride! I'd bitch about the weather but you all know the spiel, we're all stuck in the same boat up here.

Is this like most of the other forums, 592,534,535,001 guys and 2 girls?

Yeah unfortunately I fall into the lucky category of the recall. I've talked to a few places so far and they've said that they haven't actually done the epoxy job yet so I figure I'll wait till they get a few under their belt so I'm not the ginny pig. We'll see. Now's the time to do it though because my bike is completely stripped.

On another note I've heard this place is pretty cool. So thanks for the welcome guys

I've done 6 of them already. Very easy. It would take an incredible level of stupidity to fuck it up. Mine is getting done next week if I get up the motovation to get it out of the garage and bring it to work. Have no fear. the process is simple and you can not see the bracket with the plastics installed on the bike. Not at all.

Well that's good to hear. I'll have to give the bike up this week to have someone do it then. Been thinking of having Billerica Motorsports do it. Only because I really don't want Cycles 128 or GBM or Parkway touching my bike. I learned that lesson the hard way in the past.
