Welcome. I'm in Newport. Hoping to get some rides going with people on here once my work slows down I am not traveling so much. Newport rides are pointless this time of year btw. Save Newport for night time when you want to get HAMMEHED. Once all the tourists get out then riding is nice again. CT is the way to go.

I just moved from Newport. I don't mind navigating around all of the tour-asses. There's a reason they are all there this time of year, it's the best time to be there.

as duffy said, Newport sucks on bike but kicks ass on BOOZE get your bike and some of the locals can show you the decent back roads that make newport riding undesirable.

Thanks. Electric Boat is a pretty big place when you add up the employees that work at Quonset and in Groton. I'd be extremely surprised if there weren't more than three.
