    Another Newbie

    Hey Guys/Girls,
    Just wanted to introduce myself real quick. I've been riding for about three years now and I cant express how much I love it. I started out with an 05 honda 600rr. She was stolen so I upgraded to an 06 1000rr. I live about 20mins south of Boston. I just found out about this forum and so far so good. You can also find me over on 1000rr.net.     Sounds like you've set up for drags anyway, since it also has nitrous.

    Yea yea I know I know (extended swingarm) hahaha. I'm very interested in learing how to ride on a track though. I was pretty much self taught how to ride, so I never had the balls to slam the bike into a turn. I got my rush on a straight shot. Thats why I've been getting the bike ready for the drag strip. I would LOVE to learn how to ride like on a track. Don't get me wrong I can lean my bike. I just can't get like 1" off the ground. Where is there a road course around here??!?!?

    The closes road course is up in Loudon NH... Probably 1.5-2 hours from you. Next closes is down in New Jersey.

    I did my first track day with Tony's Track Days just 3 months after getting my first bike. Put some good tires on it, threw on some leathers & had at it. Scuffed a puck in turn 2 by the end of the day & was immediately hooked. Been riding with them ever since & I started working for them as an instructor back in 06.

    LOTTA track junkies like me on here... From spectators to racers... but we were all newbies once.

    Come on up to the track sometime, even if it's just to watch. Bring some friends.

    Check out the track days and pit area forums here.

    Riding is at a few places. The closest being New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH.

    There are also track days in NJ, VA, and possibly NY this season.
