Hey folks,
I joined up on this site afte checking out NH Rough RIders site and NO activity on it for like a year or more...
I know you all mostly don't get into stunting or whatever but...
Any SE NH ridas out there who like to ride and stunt (maybe 420 too)? I'm not any kind of major stunter, in fact all I really got in my bag o tricks is roll-off wheelies (working on shifting to 2nd while its up), and I occasionally hop onto the tank and ride like that for a bit.
Would really dig hanging with some stunters, maybe at some local practice spot in SE NH, pick up some tips (like clutching a wheelie, slow speed wheelies, etc.) and doing some street shredding as well...
Me - I'm ridin' a 2000 Honda VFR, Interceptor 800fi - yellow
I do way too many wheelies in traffic... ;-) - and everyone tells me I'm too old for that shi*.
Hit me back if any like minded peeps out there....

Far as I can tell (from my short time aboard),in this context would mean "who wants first crack at this guy?"
But what do I know? I'm sure you'll find out soon enough.
BTW, interesting choice for a stunt bike...I would think the vtec bump would be a PITA for most stunts. But I don't stunt, so again...what the hell do I know?
Welcome......Shepp jr.
Actually, what I really wanted to say is:
- Welcome to the site.
- We're glad you're here.
- Do your own thing and don't listen to what anyone else tells you (except this)

5th gen VFRs do not have VTEC.
I'm aware that VTEC wasn't instituted on the VFR prior to 2002, but since the year he gave for his bike only had three digits (200?), I couldn't be sure of which generation he has. Eight of the 10 years the VFR800 has been produced since 2000 had VTEC motors, I had an 80% chance on the guess. Now if there's something about yellow VFRs only being made for the year 2000, that'd be different, I wasn't aware of that, and I wouldn't have said anything. So thanks for correcting me.![]()
The bike jumps right up at 5K in 1st, and I let a friend from S. Mass ride it once and he got the front up in 1, 2, 3 gear.
It has plenty of pop - but there won't be any stoppies due to linked brakes...
I'm looking to learn how to cluch it up at speed (as in any speed/gear) and would laso like to learn low-speed wheelies as well, I love that sh*t...
So you don't think that is all I am about, I also enjoy long rides, rt 107 in NH from Raymond to Laconia is a cool ride.... My dream ride is the canyons in S. Cali
Hope to meet some cool folks here...
BTW - My bike is a 2000 VFR 800 fi
Later,
Shepp

If you run into a wall with a helmet on, you still ran into a wall.
i did a wheelie today on my way to work. i also saw 118 on the clock. on the way home i did 80ish on my favorite on ramp..then saw 122...then proceeded to split lanes at 15-20 mph for 2 miles in traffic (FUCKIN MASSHOLES!!! Rida lol. Welcome, not a whole lot of stuntas here but I can respect the sport. Just don't stunt on a group ride and gear up, you should be fine. What you do alone is your own thing.
