Have you picked a town to move to yet ? The Littleton area is very nice. I'm up there a lot in the summer...we'll have to organize a ride up there this summer. I know a few good roads up that way

Yeah, that sounds like a plan. I was thinking about that soon after I found out that I would be moving. I think I joined this forum within 12 hours of finding out I was moving.

Don't know where I'm moving to yet. It's looking like Jackson right now. Friends of family have a place up there that just opened up and I'll prolly rest my head there. I'll be working out of Conway, so I'll want to be somewhat close by. I guess I gotta get on the ball about my living quarters...........nah

Cool...the Jackson/Conway area is a good bet. There are a few good bars and actually some nightlife, which is sometimes rare in the White Mtns. The only pain is the traffic around Conway in the summer (because of the outlet malls) but if you are moving from Atlanta, you may be used to lots of traffic

Dude, Conway traffic is nothing compared to Atlanta traffic. That is definitely something I will not miss, bro. I am looking forward to being in traffic for maybe 20 minutes instead of 2 hours.

There are good bars and nightlife there? What places and where?

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, if you lived in Alpharetta, then you've seen the worst of Atlanta traffic: The Parking Lot aka GA 400. I can't count how many hours I've wasted on that road. 85's not so bad, but 285 blows. I'm anxious to leave that behind.

I have ridden thru Atlanta once in commuter traffic, I have to admit I lane split as much as I thought I could get away with..

Riding is ok in northern NH, but nowhere near as nice as northern GA

Thanks, man. I'm really looking forward to it. It's gonna be nice to get the bike up there and see some of those places I've wanted to go by bike. I can't wait for Loudon.

Man, I never did get to check out the roads in North Georgia. The one place I really wanted to ride down South was Deal's Gap.

Maybe we can get up a trip with some of NESR and go there for a weekend.

Sweet. That might actually work out pretty well. I am gonna leave my bike down here in Georgia and wasn't planning on getting it until May. We'll see what transpires with the work schedule.
