Welcome, and lets get right down to business. Can you hook a brother up with some power tools?
Welcome to the madness... Learn to ride the bike before you spend all your money on silly mods.... Just a thought.

yea, ive been looking at the slip ons. id like the bike to have a little more growl to it, as well as some more HP.. i dont really know where to look, its too bad you cant try before you buy.
any suggestions on where to read up about them??
Metzler's on their way, so i dunno if thats what you mean by custom wheels.

A great place for 636 information is KawiForums.com Kawasaki Forums: Kawasaki motorcycle forums. They have a section dedicated to the '05-'06 ZX-6R/RR Models. Also tons of info on many of the aftermarket exhaust brands(many with sound clips).
I run a Yosh RS-5 Slip-on w/ a Power Commander on my '05 636. It's pretty quiet around town but once you open it up past 9K it starts to scream...
Hey Chris, welcome to the end of the internet. This forum; sad huh? Seriously, are you coming to bike night tonight? Your not the guy that dropped his bike in front of me on the interstate today (89) where you? *EDIT* before anyone is like @#%%$#, the guy who dropped it was going slow in construction traffic and some car slammed on the brakes in front of him. So no damage to the rider and while the bike dropped, at least he didn't rear end the car. Me and some other guy I don't know either were on bikes right behind him and yeah, we did the good Samaritan thing but he was all set already.
Anyways, welcome, forget the mods till you are used to the bike. You may find you want a different bike or you may get some scratches on it that will make you wish you had waited to do anything on it. Shoot me a PM if you want to ride at some point. I work right in S. Burlington.
