    So....who wants to.....

    Go out in the freezing weather
    Pick out a dead tree
    Have it cut and wrapped
    Tie it onto the car with frozen hands
    Drive it Home
    Unload it...still with freezing hands
    Go into the dark cold shed and find that pain in the ass tree stand..
    Drag the fucking tree in the house
    Struggle to get it up straight in the stand
    Go into the attic (yeah, thats freezing too) to find the decorations
    Fight for about 3 hours with the fucking piece of crap lights
    Decorate the tree
    Vacumn the damn mess

    All while the three critters are most likely bickering, fighting and/or complaining....

    For me so I don't have to do it????!!!


    PS: I don't really hate Christmas, it's just that it is too damn much work for a single MOM and I feel like complaining today!!!

    Pfft, what's this "chopping down somebody's live tree" crap? the REALLY fun part of Christmas is decorating YOUR own Xmas tree, then putting it down the basement without removing any decorations, and just move it back upstairs the next year, already DECORATED, in your living room, so you don't have to get out of your home, freeze your ass off, and steal anyone's tree!

    My daughter has just been admited to the hospital...tommorrow she will go through a series of tests.

    Hope everything is OK with your daughter...

    My father found the ultimate lazy man tree. It's an artificial one with the lights already on it, that folds up like an umbrella. He took it one step further and bent all the decoration hangers over so they stay on when the tree is put away.

    I pulled the bachelor card - wrapped presents sitting in the middel of the living room - no tree...
