Liquidation exercises have been due to career move prospect.
Meg and I wanted to save for a couple more years, then do a stint in south cali or hawaii, and settle in VT a few years later. Well megs move from manhattan to springfield and the western mass economy/job market has left her wheels spinning with nothing great coming of it.
We both have casually been submitting resumes (to socal, hi, and vt), and I got a great opportunity outside of Burlington.
Was waiting for the offer to have no contingencies attached to deem it finalized.
We went looking for rental properties that would take 2 dogs, and have parking, and the choices were thin. On our way home we luckily passed by a for sale by owner property that caught our eye. We are going to move forward with an offer, so we'll be hard-pressed for 3 month lease term somewhere until the property lot is changed, and closing, etc times.
We will be renting out my current home for now.
WE ARE SUPER PUMPED FOR VERMONT AND THE UPCOMING CARELLA COMPOUND!!!

What town are you going to be moving to? I'm sure you'll get a nice warm welcome if you come to bike night. Congrats!
Close enough to make it to Bike Night!
Can't wait to have you guys up here! Should be some good times in the future!

Well you'll save some coming moving a state north compared to SoCal or HI. HI would be $$$$$ to move to me thinks.
I'm on the bandwagon too...I am near positive my time in this crappy little town (70 miles SE of Burlington) is limited. I want to head back up that way myself.
Should we start the flatlander bashing yet?
Another Masshole in VT
Welcome to VT...now go home
After you get settled you'll have to get another street ride (unless you have more than 1?) You'll be having withdrawals soon when you see the twisty roads and less traffic and probably less asshole drivers in cages.
Hmm ... this is going to make R6 parts exchanges a little more tricky ....
Oh well, congrats nonetheless!
Best of luck to you both in your new settings.
