    I don't want this to sound cruel, but I was actually glad to read that his passing did not involve some sort of gang shooting, drugs, or alcohol related accident...

    They were Jet Skiing without a life jacket. It applies on the water too, wear your gear....I have jet ski's and always wear life lackets. I have been thrown off and gotten the wind knocked outta me where the life jacket lets you rest and get your composure back. I hope someone can learn from this.

    Is seeing people riding jet skis w/o a life jacket common? I think that is absolutely nuts, I would never get on one without one.

    Plus they were out at night too!
