Anyone on here go bowhunting at all?
I have a lifetime liscense in NY, but don't wanna drive all the way to my place which is about 4 hours away.
Looking for some stateland to go to this season, and maybe see if anyone else is interested in going.

I was going to head out, until I messed up my hand as the result of an off-road event get-off.

I bowhunt whitetails in R.I. and mule deer in Colorado. Unfortunately for me I dont think I'll get out this year in R.I. I went to Colorado and had to settle for a doe with only 2 hours left on my trip. I took a 40 yard facing me shot.
Last year I shot a 160 7/8" buck 30 minutes into the season.

Not sure where exactly you're looking to scout. But I have 21 acres of undeveloped land that's swarming with every bit of wildlife: deer, bear, turkey, you name it. So far, I've only REALLY allowed a coupla people to hunt out there. That's not to say others haven't been out there. It's on a class VI road, about a 1/4 mile from the main road and easily accesible...
