Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Snow quantities have gone way up in the last few hours.
Because there's no place to put the stuff, over 12" is a big deal in Boston. But it's vacation week so not so busy.

(only because I'm on school winter vacation...) yeeeeahhh!!! bring on the snow!
I'm studding the front tire on the XR200R, then using whatever I have left in the pack of #250 screws to start studding the junky rear tire I have. I will then fill in the rest of the rear with sheet metal screws and it should last for the season on the XR. While I'm having fun on that, I'm getting a 1000 pack of 1" kold kutters for the spare RM125 rims to make a proper set of ice tires to use for seasons to come![]()
This season it to cold and long not to enjoy the snow. Get outside and enjoy. I'm grabbin my Snowboard in an hour to get out there. ~Let in Snow~Let it Snow~Let it Snow:

My guess is the ice will sink down with that kinda snowload, soaking the snow with water and refreezing. With the 8" base of black ice now..and another 4-6" of snow ice, conditions should be good
1-2'+ is what's forcasted here and it's snowing pretty steady now. The big thing they are talking here is the high winds combined with a heavy and wet snow. 50-60 mph winds
Put the plow on the quad, fueled it up, ran the generator for 1/2 hour or so and brought in a bunch of firewood![]()

we managed to get another 600 feet of trail cut today before the snow starts to pile up and I managed to get the 4 wheeler stuck in the soft stream crossing and had to use the winch to get it out , and then again going back the other way , I'll have to build a bridge for that section .
Off to the garage in a few minutes to hook the plow up and clear up the area in front of the generator just in case .

So I was laying on the garage floor under the 4 wheeler hooking up the plow , and when I got up the grouse was in the edge of the garage so I went to get the camera and he was back outside

Hmm, I coulda swore you sent me an email saying that thing attacked Leah and you popped it?
Hard to say how much snow we have here so far, I can see grass in some spots and see other areas with over 2' drifts. In the past hour, the temp has risen a bit but still in the low 20s...so much for the wet snow![]()

spent 3 hours fidgeting with one of the plow trucks .... and i now hate snow
Wind is rockin' in Boston - 30 gusting to over 40.
We closed our offices for tomorrow as the snow is supposed to continue through noon.

Last night my area was in an 18-22" accumulation band... If I measure where some snow fell off my roof I might have 6".
Looks like most of the snow was in MA again and people along the coast got hammered by storm surge.

we got a decent amount down on the south shore, probably close to a foot. but it's very heavy, wet snow

I can't tell. I've got 30 mph winds with gusts probably close to 50. Looks like it could be a foot though.
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

Still have bare spots on the grass from the wind, but go in the woods and there's 8" or so.
I guess there's only one thing to do on a day like today, do some laps on the Raptor![]()
