    Unhappy good bye ole buddy

    My little buddy, my puppy and best friend of nearly fourteen years is being put down weds morning.



    Rest in peace Lance! I will love and miss you always!

    I am trying so hard to be thankful for the time we got to spend together on this earth... its not easy pal. it hurts... a lot.

    I remember back when I was in elementary school my parents had to have our dog put down. This dog had been part of the family before I was even born. From day one after I was brought home from the hospital after being born, until I was about a year old, she would actually sleep under my crib & guard me. Like Will said... they're not just pets.

    When she was put down I was confused and bummed out to say the least... definitely wasn't easy.

    Brent, sorry to hear man. We had to put our german shepherd down because her hips were so bad.. it was so tough to see her in so much pain.

    I adopted an 8-1/2 month old Lab a few months after I started my business. He came to work with me almost every day. He was the icebreaker to meet my wife.

    He got oral cancer and had to be put down at age 12. I took a long walk with him, and sat with him a long time after. One of the saddest days of my life.

    They never live long enough.
