4th quarter in the super bowl, 12 seconds on the clock. Vikings are down by 2, how? Who cares. 3rd and 5 around the 20. Instead of handing it off Farve holds it for a play action and fires the ball to Moss who is triple covered. Ball is picked off. As the d-back takes off running Farve moves up for a tackle and gets blocked so hard he dies.

I thought it was by record, worst to best. I saw the Pats were 32nd on the list to pick him back up, so it made sense.

From everything I've always heard was the NFL players union was weak compared to other pro sports and the owners had a huge upper hand.

Its a toss up. You can tell that the patriots are missing the attention he got for the deep threat. Now opposing defenses are focused on Welker and giving him the attention that Moss got.
If we can find another reciever that can provide us with a deep threat then the patriots will be all set. If Tate matures fast enough it will be him. However I do not think it will be any time soon, maybe just in time for play offs.
Either way I doubt the patriots will either a) get the chance to pick him back up or b) want to pick him back up. He was bitching right before he got traded and now that hes gone to the other side he realizes how green the grass was in new england. If they were to take him back I wouldnt be suprised if it was for this season only and peanuts compared to the extension they were offering him before that he turned his nose up at.
