How many of us dumb shits are stuck on overnight shifts? I at least only have 2 nights but that is bad enough. I hate working cover shift!

Get out at 2am Monday thru Thursday.

I'm trying to get an early AM group ride going in the near future.

Wanna let in warm up a bit for others to join in. Not everyone has the luxury of heated gear...

Chalk my name up on the board! This shiite sucks! Especially when you got class right after the shift ends at school, then you go straight to your 2nd job after class during the day... At least the weather is shitty this week, it doesn't make me feel bad that I have zero time to ride, plus I gotta do some work to the bike before I get it out on the road again.

People keep waking me up so i'm never able to get more than 4-5 hours sleep during the day.

I usually catch some shuteye in the library at school between classes... people walk into the lobby and see some random kid sprawled out on the couch snoring away, big drool stain on the cushion... haha.

I got one more midnight shif left (2100-0700) then I'm on day shift for the summer (0700-1700). we bid on shifts every 4 months. i've got enought seniority that I get what I bid for, i'm 3rd on the list. i'm a 2nd or 3rd shift guy from september thru april, then days during the summer to make my other boss happy

I feel for you guys, its 0350 right now and nothing is going on.

The only thing I can't complain about right now is that with Dave in the academy and gone mon-fri. the cover shift works out for me being able to take care of the farm.

The overall sucky part is not having a consistent schedule.

sat 7-1500
sun 1500-2300
mon 1500 - 2300
tues 2300 - 0700
wed 2300 - 0700

so i don't even get 48 hours in a row off!

I have to make myself sleep at some point on tuesday so I can stay awake.
Wed is a wash because I am so sleepy.
Half of thursday is gone because I need to sleep a little bit in the morning to function.
It sucks going back in at 7am on sat morning.

Forget sleeping when its sunny and nice out during the week. My body just doesn't work like that.

I am a person that needs at least 8 hours sleep so I don't become a super bitch or get sick.

I love 2nd shift. I can do farm work in the morning and other work at night but still sleep at night.

We are stuck on permanent schedule right now. I need someone to quit or get fired in order for it to change.

I just need the hiring freeze to be undone so I can switch my jobby job!

I'm trying to pick some up for overtime, time and a half for the first 4 hours, double time for the last 4 hours, and I heard there's some kind of bonus also
