I'm a little behind, but after a recent insurance thread I had some PM's rolling in for insurance quotes. Figured I would start a thread to let everyone know what I do, can and cannot do.
I work for Liberty Mutual and sell personal lines insurance. This means I can work with you on your auto, home and life insurance. I cannot do commercial policies, small business or professional license policies.
If you want a quote, I'll be happy to help out. I will not promise you that I can save you thousands of dollars. In a lot of cases I can save you money, but more importantly I can tell you if you are over or under insured and explain to you what you are paying for. I am not a scummy salesman that will try to stuff a ton of things you don't need down your throat.
I will say that this is how I feed my family and I take it serious. If you are just looking for the absolute lowest price and want your policy with state minimum coverage, I am probably not the guy you want to talk to. Just because MA set a limit of where you need to be, it does not mean that is what you should have. Of course that also means that I will not be selling you million dollar coverages when you are 20 yrs old, unemployed and living with your parents. As your situation changes, I will be there to recommend changes to your coverage.
I am licensed in MA. I sell auto insurance and I can put your bike on the same policy as your auto; no need for separate policies. I sell homeowners and renters insurance (if you have no idea why renters policies are important, let me know). I also sell life insurance. If you want to talk, PM me here or send me an email at mark.connollyatlibertymutual.com.

My SPID points might be 10 soon, am I uninsurable?
Hey Mark, What office do you work out of? Both myself and my new wife are existing Liberty Mutual policy holders, and are very happy. Mine is out of the Lexington office, my wife's in Framingham. We're looking to merge our policies together now that we're married, as well as a few other things.
Ping me on the PM.
PS - Liberty Mutual has been GREAT to me. I had my car hit in a parking lot by some asshat from NH that was in an uninsured rental truck. No issues at all. They went after him, waived by deductable, and I had my car into a body shop with check in hand in TWO DAYS.
Pending a couple factors you should still be insurable. Insurance companies don't hate bad drivers, they hate people that don't pay their bills. Points are $100+ for each point in MA. PM me your name and dob if you want me to see what I can do.
Good to hear you're happy. Ill shoot you a pm tonight.

Figured I would bump this thread as now that spring has rolled around I seem to be getting a bunch of PM's. Thank you!
A few things to point out. If you are already with Liberty and ask me a question I will still be happy to help out. If you already have an agent with Liberty, again I will still be happy to help out but I am not in the business of stealing food from other agents tables. I'll answer your questions, review your policy and make recommendations as if your were my own customer but it is up to you to call the office and have changes made.
Lastly, if you want me to give you a quote and you PM me, I will ask for a copy of your existing policy. I do this because your existing limits can impact the rate I can get for you. I do not do it because I want to know what you are already paying, honestly I couldn't care less. I do not get to control the rates so I can not make a quote come in under what you are currently paying just because I want your business. I put the quote together with the right coverages and any discounts that should apply and the final rate is what it is.
Again, thank you for the PM's and stand by...... there will FINALLY be a thread that will tell you what you need to know about your insurance.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Mark over the past few days regarding my vehicle policy. He is easy to get in touch with and really cares that you are properly covered in case of the unfortunate. He took the time to not only tell me what his quote included, but also to explain everything clearly so that I knew exactly what coverage I was getting and why it was important to have it. Duffy and I are going to paying less per year now for two cars and two bikes than Safety Ins. was charging us for two cars and one bike. Thanks again Mark!
Same here, Mark helped me and the wife also, saved us some $$ and explained our coverage in detail, looking forward to the switch....Thanks Mark..
Again, not a problem. I was happy to help and I appreciate your business. If you guys need anything, don't hesitate to get in touch with me.
For anyone else,if you want a quote and want to talk about your current policy, just message me. I can do 95% of the work before we even speak.

I mentioned this in the dealer/vendor thread, but in case some of you missed it I am offering gift cards for referrals from my current customers. For every two referrals you send me that result in a quote, I don't have to actually sell the policy, I'll send you a $10 gift card anywhere you want.
June is looking like a tough month so far so if you have referrals you feel would appreciate the same service I provided you, I'd appreciate it. For anyone else that may just be curious about a quote, send me a PM and let me get a shot at earning your business. I could use the help this month and if I can get it by putting money back in your pocket, that works.

Mark, can you insure people in NY? GF and I are shopping for new insurance. complicated situation with homeowners needed in a different state (CT) etc etc.
Let me know and we can take it to PM
Another person that wants to give Mark his kind recommendations. I had fairly good coverage to begin with and being on a 250 there wasn't significant difference in terms of $ between Mark and my old policy. The big difference in factor with Mark was him taking the time to explain and make sure everything was understood. He even took the time to inquire about needing passenger coverage or not. Its nice dealing with an agent that understands motorcycles as there seems to be differences with motorcycle insurances that most agents don't know.
Not a problem at all. The state license exam doesn't address any differences in coverage between a bike and car so most agents, it's not that they don't care about motorcycles, they just don't know any better. Due to my relationship with the motorcycle community I had to go out and learn on my own. Policy for policy, my book of business probably has 300% more motorcycles than any other rep in my office. Considering this is how I feed my family, not knowing everything would keep me up at night. Again, I'm happy I could help you out. I like knowing the conversations I have don't always fall on deaf ears.
For anyone else, give me a shout and let me take a shot at earning your business. If we can't come to an agreement, you'll at least have a wealth of info that your agent probably never told you or just didn't know.

Mark, I'm trying to sell my car to a young couple that's in Worcester (plantation street)
They have never owned or insured a car in MA, but were looking for my help for info to get insured.
Can I send them your info?
PM sent
I'm in the seacoast area of NH. I have liberty for my house and car(s) and have for years because Liberty employs a lot of my neighbors, friends of family, and old classmates.
Until I saw this thread today, I had no idea Liberty did MC insurance.
Not sure how it works in NH, but in MA we are one of the only companies that can put your cars and bikes on the same policy and allow you to make changes to coverage on each vehicle individually (stripping down coverage on the bikes during the winter for example).
For those of you that have mentioned getting a quote but you haven't taken the leap yet, it would be a great time to get in touch with me. Need a bunch of policies by next Thursday or I could find myself jobless.... silly me taking some time off to have my daughter put me behind this cycle.
