But I am going to the US GP to watch the F1 race next month.

Way cheaper than I thought... if this is fun I may have to go to the Indy 500 next year or something like that.

Only $250 for 2 tickets to the race, 2 tickets for saturday qualifying, and a 2 day parking pass. I'm on vacation the week after that weekend, I may shift it forward to try and go to the practice too while I'm out there, although there is also practice saturday morning.
