That might be the rub, why didn't he call the police? Did he and his guests want a fight? Not defending the dirt bags at all mind you but not calling 911 for at least a paper trail was not smart. But it's just a report, for all we know the cops are just being vague because they have no clue how to handle the situation. Curious how it plays out though.

NM is like TX you can stand your ground and you're fine. Me thinks there's a tad more to the story and they are looking into the situation. But of course that wouldn't sell news papers and get ya'lls panties in a bunch.
