anyone here loose their power?

....we lost power here yesterday at about 2pm.......we finally have it back....!!!....nothing like a day without to re-appreciate the luxury of heat, etc

Yeah, we were out for a few hours yesterday. Been flickerin' here & there today. I expect we'll lose power again tonight...

yeah the wife and I went to the Sugar Hill Sampler store and they were closed no power... but downtown Franconia had power.

We lost power for over 4 hours yesterday.
It's been a nice weekend 'round here, 65mph winds yesterday and today, 4" of rain yesterday, some of the worst coastal flooding sence hurricane Bob in the early 90's according to the news

went out riding today, came across downed lines in 2 places,

rt 11 in Farminton, a tree was lying across the lines smoldering, FD & PD were there, traffic was one lane,

and Rt 107 in Gilmanton , line was hanging low across road, PD & FD were there too, directing traffic into one lane

my power has flickered a bit, But I haven't lost power in the last 10 years since I bought a generator

best way to guarantee you will never loose power is to invest a $2k in a generator & transfer switch.

mine has only been used the once a year that I run a tank of fuel thru it (8-10hrs) then I change the oil .

Had a utility pole down and lines across North Barnstead Road last night, at the end of our road...
