If you are going to and from a range or shooting event you are free to carry your unloaded firearms through Mass. That is as long as you are not prohibited from possesing one. I think you also need to have a lock on the firearm too. All magazines must be unloaded and if you can help it don't carry high capacity magazines either.Originally posted by richw

For the high powered stuff you have to use special rounds which they sell there, but you can shoot everything under the sun.

MAnchester firing line fyi 90% of the time I tried to use one of there 50cal, machine guns etc... they where out of order. Also I brought my Ar15 up there to shoot using there ammo and they where out of it both time. Call ahead.
