Before NESR

Just curious,

Has anyone found out that they have known a NESR member before joining NESR? For example I found out that I went to high school with NEVERLOST and DeSarge grew up in my home town. I am asking because i am doing a project for class on the impact of social networking in reference to the book Numerosity. Also if there are any members here from Cape Cod or any former Navy members that were stationed at New London or went though NNPTC let me know, we may have met

Speaking of Nick, he and I went to High School together. We didn't keep touch at all after graduation, but I did bump into him once or twice on the Soccer field during College when our schools played one another.

Then one day about 6 years later I got a PM on here that went somethin like "Is this the one and only Pete Gaboriault from Masco?"

And now we don't talk anymore cuz he dropped off the face of the friggin earth again


Oh and Jamie (Drop) also went to the same High School us. He was a couple years behind us. I didn't really know him then.

Alex's sister was my H.S. English Teacher. We lived like 2-3 streets away from each other, just didn't know it.

Jamie aka Drop has been a very good friend of mine since HS, something like 12 years. I didn't count him because he's the one that told me to join here. I was friends with Carla (priv) since we were like 12, but I knew her and knew she was joining here, knew Alex (her bf, obsolete) was already on here, etc.

i met degs at msf before i joined nesr, and there's a couple other dudes i "knew" from other forums. another dude i almost bought tires off of from cl, who also happens to be a member here, does trackdays and stuff too. i don't think there's anyone i knew before, and coincidentally happen to join nesr on our own, unbeknown-st to the other.

While I haven't met anyone here before joining NESR, I have met some riders, who I then realized were Nesrians after talking to them.

For example back in March, shortly after joining, I took a ride over to Motomarket, and started talking to some guy with a shiny blue and white Suzuki. After I realized who he was (Stinger157), and asked him if he heard of a site called NESR. And he was like "oh yea, I'm on there."

But that's about it really.
