I could potentially take 1- 1.5 weeks off prior to get a little adventure trip goign for 3-4 days.
Outside of REI trips ( open to entire US preferable to eastern US to maximize time)
Anyone have any suggestions for trips? or sites to check out?
Canoeing/ kayaking/ white water rafting type preferable... even a little dirt riding somewher. I havent been fishing in along time, a nice fishing expedition would be cool
Need an outfitter that could take me and have everything ready to go for me , all I need to is show up. FOr me its about finding a group top go with. I could potentially do the trip myself but I'm paying for the company/ other activity partners realistically.
If anyone is up for something let me know

Somewhere north of the notches in NH? Although the rivers are looking pretty sad, there's lots to do including legal dirty fun...
I'm also dying to get down to the Hatfield McKoy area...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
If you're into hiking, how about doing the Presidential Traverse? It's a bucket list item for me.
I have a buddy who did it between sun rise and sun set, know as the Presidential Assault.

I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
Key thign for me is having people to go with ( never liked trips by myself not from a safety point but from a " fun/ shared exp"
The NH mtn are my back up quick and easy to get too. looking for something more than backpacking my back yard but it'll do if everything is too $$$ or doesnt work time wise.
Hat field mckoy would be fun!!!!! ( i need a working dirtbike howeverxr engine is seized and the KDX is in pieces still) But i'd also need some people to go with.
hmmmm......
The Lake Placid area is awesome for everything you described. Tons of hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, etc. Downtown is fun at night in a ski/resort town kind of way. Riding up there is a blast. I'm actually headed up there on the bikes with a couple guys to go camping this weekend.
Lake Placid, Adirondacks | has any info on guided tours and stuff you'd need.
Sailing classes?
