I don't even know why it matters who owns the Rams. I mean, we're talking about the friggin' St. Louis Rams, here. They're only 46-71 (.393, .392 if you count their 1-2 playoff record) since losing to us in the Super Bowl, with only one winning season in there. They finished last place in their division the last two years with only 5 combined wins over that time period, and many believe they're on track to have a winless season this year.
I'm not a Limbaugh fan by any means (frankly I can't stand the guy), but who gives a shit what he does with his money? He can't do any worse with the team. The only thing I'd wonder about is if the new ownership would move the team (like they've been talking about for a couple of years now). God forbid someone actually try to turn around a shitty franchise...maybe he should try to buy the Raiders from Big Al. I'd love to see what "The Reverend Brothers" would say about that one.

ok ok... how about this one..
The Reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, while visiting a primary school class, found themselves in the middle of a discussion related to words and their meanings. The teacher asked both men if they would like to lead the discussion of the word tragedy. So the illustrious Reverend Jackson asks the class for an example of a tragedy.
One little boy stood up and offered, "If my best friend, who lives on a farm, is playing in the field and a runaway tractor comes along and knocks him dead, that would be a tragedy."
"No," says the Great Jesse Jackson, "that would be an accident."
A little girl raised her hand. "If a school bus carrying 50 children drove over a cliff, killing everyone inside, that would be a tragedy."
"I'm afraid not," explains the exalted Reverend Al. "That's what we would call a great loss." The room goes silent. No other children volunteer.
Reverend Al searches the room. "Isn't there someone here who can give me an example of a tragedy?"
Finally at the back of the room little Johnny raises his hand. In a stern voice he says, "If a plane carrying the Reverends Jackson and Sharpton were struck by a missile and blown to smithereens that would be a tragedy."
"Fantastic!" exclaims Jackson and Sharpton, "That's right. And can you tell me why that would be a tragedy?"
"Well," says little Johnny, "because it sure wouldn't be a great loss and it probably wouldn't be an accident.

imo who gives a fuck. Al Sharpton can go DIAF for all I care... His opinion isnt warrented in my book. Just my .02.
This makes me laugh. Maybe they're against Obama because he basically said in his campaign he's going to up taxes on the highly wealthy and they're going to pay for everything, but the middle class and lower class wont see taxes increase. Well I wonder who owns football teams, THE SUPER RICH. Fucking morons.

it is absolutely true....if not for sharpton he'd still be on nbc.....sharpton threaten to have a million man march at nbc's door steps...imus was supposed to be suspended for a short time then back on the....the ball players didn't and still don't give flying fuck
sponsors have come and gone throughout imus' career..1 leaves, 3 are lined up behind them....he had the most popular show on msnbc (by far) and one of the most popular radio show on air and in history...it had absolutely nothing to do with the sponsors and everything to do with how the nbc execs thought they would look because of the rukus sharpton causes..they lost and are still losing money because of this...sharpton bluffed and they bought it hook, line and sinker...
Sponsors pulled due to Sharpton's threat and the execs. caved. It's not like he said fire them and they did cause he said so. He used the system in the way it should work actually.
