The show " Pinks" on speed. IMO some of the better reality tv going right now. Re runs are on tues before 2 wheel tue. and the new episodes are wed. 9 and 9:30
the premise is drag racing on a 1/4 mile track. best 3 out of 5, winner takes the losers vehicle.
Tonight had 2 hyabusas one of which was claiming 500HP.
pretty cool heads up racing Neither guy was willing to give up their $40,000. bike if they lost so instead they went to a dealer and plit the cost of a brand new gixxer1000 , the winner got to take it home. Most of what I have seen to date has been cars but tonight was bikes. Perhaps they will re run it next tue at 7:30.

Yeah the one with the harley and sportbike was good but the two Busa's was great! All the races were headsup and real close. It was freakin sweet.

the very first races from this season there was a guy who raced his bike and his mustang.... he is now a technincal advisor for the show, on the show....

ya i noticed that kid is working for them now. he was on last year a few times. once on a old fizzer then a mustang. he had a grudge match with that tall dude from chicago with the camaro. he's a bitch imo.

both busa's had over 500 hp. i didn't hear about splitting the cost of a new gixxer. what part of the show did they say that? thats kind of bullshit, your surpossed to lose your ride, the ride you raced...

I believe his name is Neil Pritchit (sp?) He was kinda a whiny bitch when he raced Tony...I would be pissed about waiting around for Tony too...but he was a whiny bitch about it. There is another dude from season one who is a tech advisor as well..not sure what his name is..

I watched both shows last night and it was funny watching the Suzuki race the Vrod. A 1980's bike against the 2003 Vrod...which now has a junk clutch! This one was hilarious, you have a$1000 bike at the most going against an $18000 bike.

The two Busa's were insane, 500 hp vs 550 hp, it was funny how the 550 hp bike team was saying the show annoucer was cheating. In the beginning of the show both riders said they would not race for the pinks on their busa's (35-40k bikes) so they went out and split the cost of a new gsx-r 1000 and signed the pink over on that. They both said they do not have a streetbike so they agreed that was a good deal. This race had so much drama built into it.

I've seen it three times and only three times. Each time I watched they ended in a draw. I wanted someone to lose their car - that's why I watched. Not a fan.

Yeah , that show is pretty cool. The only part that sucks is the way they teaze you into the commercials. Every time you see the cars/ or bikes leave the line they show a camera shot of the vehicles pulling away and then you here the guitar theme and they cut to commercial. That really gets on my nerves. Granted they show the race after the commercial but its frustrating as hell to see a race begin and then cut to a commercial.

That aggravates the hell outta me too...but it seems like teh commercial breaks are short on speed...

that was first season rules... they re-vamped all the rules & I'm pretty sure one of them is now no draws.

Good show, they'd have alot less hassles and arguments if they used the tree instaid of that bald guy flapping his arms though.

Thats not Fast&Furious enough though. It would be ever better if he had a pink hankercheif in one hand when he started the race.
