pfft... "a foot".... boston got pretty slammed... from weather.com - "Total storm accumulations approaching 3 feet." and i heard on the news that w/ the wind we might get 8 foot high snow drifts... it's because of those drifts that my roommate's car is completely burried

I'm trying to decide whether to:
a) go for a ride around town on my mountain bike (it has nasty studded tires on it that I haven't really gotten to use yet)
b) Put on my snowshoes and hike to the top of the highest point in town. It's like 4 blocks to the park and then it's maybe a 300ft hill to climb. Awesome view, but it doesn't get plowed so there is probably like 4ft of snow up there now. I'm sure I'd get some awesome pictures.
c) Hike up the hill with my snowshoes, lugging my snowboard behind me, and then come back down the access road on the snowboard. It'd be the best powder I've ever experienced, that's for sure!

I went off-roading today. My dad turned around in his Taco once I fell through the ice on a 3 foot deep puddle. After 10 minutes and a rear locker, I got out. We kept going all the way to the end of the trail! It was crazy. There was a ramp of snow 5 feet long in front of my truck!
I tried to open the door and I had to push snow with it to get out. Man I love havin a Taco....they just don't die!![]()

30 inches down here in Newport. The winds were FIERCE last night and today. I even heard thunder last night. I got the car dug out and shoveled the driveway. I just hope I can get out of the neighborhood tomorrow so I can make my flight.
Yup.

I may be the only nut here....
I love this stuff. Yeah...I can't ride my M/C,
but I can go out on my 20HP Kohler V-twin tractor
with 46" wide 2-stage Snow Blower attachment
and chuck snow 20' in the air.
I like to try and fill my neighbors inground pool from my driveway.
It's great........

Actually, I don't know my measurements....my husband told me that it was a lot more higher than 3 feet....more like 5...the draftings I mean...doh. Oh well...with the snowblower, no need to worry anyway.
