Anyone had their drilled water well fracked
In the good old days it was like 4 sticks of dynamite
I think now they drop a large weight down the well sort of kinetic projectile
Anybody had real results like 1 gal/minute becoming 2?

I have heard of using dry ice in the past, not dynamite, however the current method is to insert a couple inflatable packers 40-60 feet deep than pump water thru at 2000-3000 psi

I had the well fracked at my last house, it produced 0 gpm after they drilled it, then produced 1.2 gpm after tracking. It works

Thanks fellas
the hydraulic things sounds reasonable
Apparently they block off portions of the well then pump water down at pressure
This both expands and "rinses" some of the cracks and fissures

Had ours done years ago. Inflatable bladders and high pressure water was what they did. Went from 2.5 gallons to almost 5 @ 50psi.
