Tattoo Recommendations...

Been giving some thought to having my tat redone, covered up, something to make it look better.

Looking for recommendations of artists in the southern NH, northern MA area but willing to travel if the reputation is good.

Also looking for ideas on what I can get to cover up the existing.. something like 3"x3". Any ideas/recommendations greatly appreciated.

I feel like a tattoo should be something personal or hold some sort of meaning to you... do you really want some suggestions from a forum.... especially NESR?

But a picture off the tat in question would be helpful in determining whether its a candidate for touch up or cover up.

The photo's too small to do anything with it... Not to mention it's not a clear shot off the ink anyway.

Ok, first off I posted here about tats because I know a lot of members have had them done and spoke highly of them.

I do need recommendations on an artist, even some suggestions on what to do with this. I got it when I was 16, before I knew what pain was and wasn't able to finish it. Now Im much older and can handle it and need to get something done with it. Cover it up with something else, finish it, I dont know?

I am going straight to NESR hell for posting these pics... but they are for a good purpose

That should be very easy to cover with just about anything you want. No color other then black makes it pretty easy.. Oh, By the way..

Im thinking something along the lines of a tribal or celtic sun. Should be about the right size and cover it up quite nicely. Ive been looking at designs online but havent found "it" yet... maybe even something to show my Miqmaq heritage would be cool.

That should be easy to cover up.

As for recommendations...

Marty Holcomb in Columbus Ohio is great and has won several awards, but I doubt you want to go that far.

Tattoo 3 studio in suncook NH. I've worked at a tattoo shop and I've been inked by 5 different artists. Hurley is by far the best i've been too and one of coolest guys I know. First time I met him was about 13 years ago.

To each their own. I'm sure there are plenty of people that would tell me I shouldn't have any tattoos because THEY don't like them. How much sense does that make?

i don't know how much sence it makes but your right to each their own. i have one big ass one on my forearm that gets more noses in the air than i can believe. stigmatism that goes with the ink i guess.
