How do I insert a pic into the body of a message?

I can attach an image, but for some reason I can't insert the pic into the body of a message...

*just subtract the spaces between. take note the picture has to be hosted on another server.

or hit the pretty picture button in the 'post reply' and insert link in the popup.

You can embed an attached image, too. Just right-click the image name in the manage attachments dialog (after it's been uploaded) and choose "Copy Image Link" (or whatever the closest option is). Paste that between them img tags.
