I am going to start building a detached two car garage. Within the next month or so.. I am looking for someone with construction/ framing experience to help/ tell me what I am doing wrong. Either be with me there most of the time framing it. Or to stop by once a day a tell me what to do and just to check what I am doing is safe, legal etc....
This is a project myself and father are completing and just need someone to let help out.. This is going to be a 24x24 garage with a single 16 foot door . A real simple design and we have a general idea of what we are doing but can of course use the help of a pro.. I will obviously pay a fair wage.
If someone would like to quote framing it out with there own company that would be also nice so I can weigh my options..
I only need the framing quoted/ help with
I am also looking for a trustworthy company to pour the slab.
House is in Chelmsford MA

Location?
My brother builds things. I'll see if he's interested in some sidework and get back to you.
Care to PM your number so I can pass it along?
If you don't mind, can you tell me what the project ends up costing when everything is said and done? I can give you some pointers when it comes to the wiring.
My father is a GC, and has done a few good sized jobs in Chelmsford. I'll ask him if he knows a good guy to pour your slab in the area tonight.
I'll also see if he wants to bid the framing, I'm sure he will. If you want to PM me your # or email address I'll have him contact you about a quote, and regardless I'll post back up about a company for the slab. If you do have him frame it, you'll pay the same if not a hair less for the slab by having him include it in his bid, as the companies he subs give him a discount since he's a GC and gives them regular work.

Ask for Sergio, hes a good friend of mine. I worked for him for 2 years, he does real solid work if you haven't found anyone yet.
Just some dumbass
Too bad you wern't closer to me. My cousin Scott can build anything...
If all else fails, Lean more....
A buddy of mine used these guys

they come "pre-fab" you get the slab and they drop the garage. IIRC, the job was sub $12k, and for what he got, I don't think we could have stick built the garage for that money. I get a flier everyonce in a while from them and their pretty reasonable.
I know you said you wanted to build it yourself (and your father), but it may be worth getting a price
