A place to "hang my hat" in central Vermont?

My wife and I are still searching for a new place to rent.
We are in the market for a large 1 bedroon or a cozy 2 bedroom.
A bit of storage would be nice and we prefer not to be in a med-large complex.
We would like to locate around the outskirts of Burlington.
Along rt7, east of Essex Junction along 89 and north of the interstate as well.

If you know of any leads (friends etc.) we would appreciate the help.
